The Steps in making a Giclée Print
The production steps necessary to produce a giclée print include: photographing the artwork or using the photographer’s digital files, implementing color refinements and corrections, and providing you with a proof ( if requested) using the same inks and canvas which will be used for your full edition. The production steps to create a Master Digital File require a one-time fee. We produce a high resolution digital Capture using Hassenblads legendary CFV-39 digital back. Printing is digital-to-digital using special pigmented waterproof inks archival rated 100 years plus. A width up to 44 inches is offered.
High Resolution Digital Capture of original artwork (includes color correction and 1-11x14 proof if requested) $50.00 for artwork sizes up to 11x17, $100.00 for all larger sizes up to 30x40. Sizes larger start @ $150.00. Drum scans are available if you are working with transparencies or negatives @ $50.00ea.
When digital files are supplied to us there is no set up fee as long as gamut values are in range and don't require extensive color correction. If needed a quote will be given first. Please provide a color reference, print, slide or transparency if available. Please remember the quality of your giclée prints is directly related to the quality of the digital file used to print.
Final high-resolution digital files will be provided on CD with all completed work in the following 3 sizes: High-res .TIF, Medium-res .TIF & a .JPG for web use. We provide shipping with FedEx or UPS.
Rolled canvas prints include a 2” border either white or mirrored image for gallery wrapping. Flood coat varnish is included on all canvas prints. Other sizes are available upon request. Additional discounts will be given for quantity printing.

We use poplar wood for our stretcher bars. Sizes 24x30 and larger have a brace bar support. Each stretched canvas print is ready to hang right out of the box. Hanging hardware is provided with each print.
